The Palm Beach Show

SmithDavidson Gallery is pleased to announce its participation at the Palm Beach Show, February 12-17, 2026.

The presentation willl feature a curated selection of modern and contemporary masterworks from around the globe, placing Indigenous Australian painting in direct dialogue with post-war American and European abstraction. Monumental works by Emily Kngwarreye and Makinti Napanangka, artists whose visionary practices transformed global perceptions of Aboriginal art—anchor the presentation, offering profound meditations on land, cosmology, and mark-making. These works are thoughtfully juxtaposed with post-war icons including Hans Hofmann, Gerhard Richter, and Tom Wesselmann, creating a compelling cross-cultural conversation around gesture, color, materiality, and the evolution of abstraction and figuration in the 20th century.
