Art Miami
“We are thrilled to return to Art Miami, the original and longest-running fair of Miami Art Week” said David Smith, owner of SmithDavidson Gallery. The gallery will present a significant booth, AM 326, centrally located on the VIP square, showcasing an expansive and thoughtfully curated selection of Australian Indigenous Art, blue-chip modern works, and new pieces by rising contemporary artists who are rapidly earning international recognition.
The presentation will feature two major epic works by Emily Kame Kngwarreye, whose practice is currently the subject of a major retrospective at Tate Modern in London. The booth will also include several original paintings and sculptures by American Pop icon Robert Indiana, a major canvas by Hans Hofmann, two Star works by Robert Cottingham and a unique work by Lucio Fontana, reinforcing SmithDavidson’s focus on presenting museum-quality pieces by seminal artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
On view will also be new works by Diana Korn, Zhuang Hong Yi and Matthijs Scholten. The gallery will for the first-time be presenting works by Hanne Arends and Cathalijn Wouters. Their debut underscores the gallery’s commitment to elevating a diverse range of artistic voices and perspectives
This year’s exhibition brings together important historical works, outstanding contemporary voices, and artists whose influence continues to shape global art discourse. With selections representing every continent, the booth reflects a truly global curatorial vision reflecting the breadth of the gallery’s global program and its longstanding commitment to excellence.
We look forward to welcoming collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts to explore its full presentation at Booth AM326 during Art Miami 2025.
